It’s my world, y’all just living in it…

It got interesting when trying to come up with a theme for this blog. I jumped from one name to the other because the name I had chosen was already taken. Then there was the struggle with not being sure whether I wanted the anonymity of "Gossip Girl" or if I  wanted to grab the world by the ear and shout "IT'S ME!!!" All I know is that at the beginning of this year, I had this clever idea to document my 24th journey around the sun.

Now, I wanted to put myself out there, not just in anyway though, through a blog. I usually do this while journaling, but I wanted something that could be more accessible to the the public, something that could help others, not a how-to guide, but something that screams “you’re not alone, I get it.” Honestly this thought came to me after spending my time binge watching “Ugly Betty” with my mom. Betty was 23 at the time and so was I and I could kind of relate to her, as she is a young adult maneuvering through the world and exploring her interest. “This is clever” I thought, I can start a blog and those who resonate, well, take what you like and leave the rest. Anyways, the story behind Luday(Lou-day) originates from my 23rd birthday. My Best friend actually coined the name and it was up from there. It was about 11:53 pm, just a couple minutes from my birthday, and I had decided to bake a birthday cake.

*Anytime I think of the word birthday, nine times of ten this meme comes to mind, go ahead, you can giggle, don’t be shy. If you didn’t know, this the giggle house.*

As we’re baking the cake and chatting about the festivities we had planned, I knew I needed something good, something that told the world, “It’s my damn birthday!” My nickname is Ludy(Lou-dee), and honestly, I’m not sure if many people know that’s not my real name, but any who. My bestie says, “why not Luday, cause ya know, it’s your day” and GORLLLLL, that was the birth of a new era. It honestly explains me well, which we’ll get into later, and from that name, well, I’ve come up with many variations of names that I will soon introduce to you!
